It's that time of year again. Dewey's 24-Hour Read-A-Thon. Dewey's has quite a history, and you can read about it on their website! I've been doing it for perhaps seven years or so. I don't remember how I joined in the fun, but I'm glad I did. I'm totally hooked!

The challenge for the day is 10 books within the 24 hour reading period. I'm not sure I'm going to hit that goal, but you can see me attempt at doing so here.

FINISHED BOOKS:

1) Tomorrow's Kin
2) Queen of the Tearling

1) What fine part of the world are you reading from today?

My living room, primarily, in Minnesota.

2) Which book in your stack are you most looking forward to?

"Tomorrow's Kin" because it's been in my pile FOREVER, or "Shadowcaster" because I need more of my shattered realms something fierce.

3) Which snack are you most looking forward to?

All of them. I live for the snacks. I don't have any planned out that are special for the event, though.

4) Tell us a little something about yourself!

I have a tendency to check out seven library book at once, and this isn't on purpose. My holds just have a way of coming in all at the same time. I have to check them out, or I'll lose my place in line!

5) If you participated in the last read-a-thon, what’s one thing you’ll do different today? If this is your first read-a-thon, what are you most looking forward to?

I'm planning on pacing myself better and dividing up my books so I'm not just reading the same kind of book the entire time. I'll do some audio and get up and move more, and I'll fight the afternoon nap time lull.
